Health5G

5G-enabled healthcare across hospital, home and emergency environments

About the project

Health5G explored how 5G connectivity supports clinical and remote care scenarios, from hospital environments to home monitoring and emergency response. The programme addressed availability, latency and reliability requirements in systems where degraded operation has real consequences.

Pictor’s involvement

Work focused on system-level availability and reliability requirements, and on what degraded connectivity means for critical use cases.

Why it matters in industry

Connected products increasingly depend on networks they do not control. Defining acceptable degraded behaviour is a safety and a security question at the same time.
